Akshaye Khanna’s State of Siege

Not so long back, in the initial days of the pandemic, State of Siege: 26/11 was one of the first web series released on ZEE5. The show was a tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Continuing the legacy of the Siege series, the OTT platform, earlier this year, announced a film to mark a tribute to the Indian soldiers, saluting their brave spirit. The film is titled the State of Siege: Temple Attack and is inspired by true events. The makers have released the teaser of the film, which reminds us of the NSG Heroes and the sacrifices made by them. The film will take us through their journey and the behind-the-scenes action that took place during the temple attack. As per the Director, Ken Ghosh, State of Siege: Temple Attack isn’t just a film, but a tribute to NSG commandos who risk their lives to keep us safe. A son of a Naval officer himself, he has grown up in awe of the armed forces. He adds that in the State of Siege: Temple Attack, they have tried to give a fitting tribute to the nation’s Heroes and that he cannot wait for the release of the film on ZEE5. The film, which will premiere on July 9, will have Akshaye Khanna back in the uniform after several years, along with Vivek Dahiya, who will be seen again as an NSG Commando after the State of Siege: 26/11.
