Ajay Devgn has completed his one-day left over shoot of Gangubai Kathiawadi. The shoot had been cancelled initially since Sanjay Leela Bhansali was detected with COVID-19. The actor has an extended cameo in the movie. This is the first time since the 1999 hit Hum…Dil De Chuke Sanam that both Ajay and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have come together. They have tried to collaborate on a few projects in the past, but things did not work out due to various reasons. The director had offered Ajay the lead role in Bajirao Mastani but, the actor had to turn it down because he felt that he was already doing something similar in Tanhaji. It is reported that Bhansali is so pleased by Ajay Devgn’s presence and performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi that he has extended his cameo role in it.
