Ever since Kangana Ranaut took charge of her social media page, she has invited controversies like none other star has. Since last year, Kangana has been going all out on her social media accounts speaking up her mind as well as making allegations in interviews on various news channels. In one such incident, she had made some objectionable remarks against lyricist Javed Akhtar by dragging his name in her feud with actor Hrithik Roshan. The lyricist, in turn, filed a defamation case against Kangana, and a bailable warrant was issued in the actresses name, for not appearing despite being summoned by the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate court. Recently, the National Award-winning actress had also put up a plea seeking suspension from all the proceedings and hearings of the case in the same court and requested to quash all the charges against her, but her appeal has been denied. Kangana’s lawyer has, however, said that they shall challenge the defamation suit in a higher court.
