This week saw the release of Drishyam 2, the Malayalam sequel to the 2013 thriller Drishyam starring Mohanlal. Now that the movie is released, the sequel’s remake in Hindi is anticipated starring Ajay Devgn & Tabu in it. As per reports, Devgn had bought the remake rights of Drishyam 2 ever since its sequel was announced in Malayalam and is now chalking out its production plan. Unfortunately, the untimely passing away of Nishikant Kamat who directed Drishyam in Hindi has raised the question about who is going to be taking over the reins of creating the sequel. It is being said that the team is currently looking out for a Director and it seems Jeetu Joseph, who is the director of the Malayalam Drishyam is the front runner for it. If everything falls in line, the movie will go on floors by this year-end hit the big screen sometime next year.
