The nepotism debate isn’t going anywhere. Well, we say so due to the recent turnout of events post the IPL auctioning ceremony held in Chennai that saw Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar being selected for Mumbai Indians for 20 Lacs. Netizens had a mixed feeling about the selection and some even called it promoting nepotism. However, it is Farhan Akhtar who has come out in the defense of the young cricketer on his Twitter handle saying that to throw words like nepotism at the younger Tendulkar isn’t fair. Apparently, the filmmaker turned actor visits the same gym where Arjun goes and has seen him working hard on his fitness and has also witnessed his focus to be a better cricketer.
