It is now confirmed by the lead actor Akshay Kumar himself on his social media handle that Bell Bottom is indeed going to be a theatrical release. He even went on to announce July 27 as the release date of the movie. Akshay, on his Twitter handle, wrote that people have been waiting patiently for Bell Bottom, and he could not be happier to finally announce the release of the movie across big screens worldwide on July 27. This suspenseful spy drama will be the first Akshay Kumar starrer to hit the screens this year. The actor will be seen in a vintage avatar in a flick that promises picturesque international locations and breathtaking sequences. Both Vashu Bhagnani and Akshay were keen to release the film in theatres and did not want to go through the more often sought digital route. Their idea is to revive the exhibition sector through this movie.
