Kangana Ranaut, who was supposed to appear in the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate’s court today in a case filed against her by Javed Akhtar, has once again missed the hearing. Since Ranaut again failed to appear before the honorable court, Javed Akhtar’s lawyer has moved an application seeking an arrest warrant against her. However, the National Award-winning actresses’ lawyer said that Kangana is constantly traveling and has been unwell. Kangana, who has been asked to undergo a COVID test, is granted relief by the court for the time being. That said, the court has ordered that if Kangana Ranaut misses her next hearing, which is scheduled to take place on Sep 20, an arrest warrant shall be issued against her. In the recent hearing, Kangana’s lawyer claimed that Javed Akhtar had called the actor and her sister through the help of a common Doctor, to which the veteran lyricist said that he tried to advise and pacify Ranaut to settle her issues with Hrithik Roshan. The actress, according to Javed Akhtar, did not pay any heed to his advice and wants to handle the issue as per her choice. Relief is still a far-fetched scenario for the actress in this case, as last week, the Bombay High Court had dismissed her appeal of quashing it.
