Prabhas is undoubtedly the biggest star in the country today who has a massive appeal not only in the South but the Hindi speaking belt as well. Such has been his dominance recently that he has almost a dozen movies lined up such as Radhe Shyam, Salasar, Project K, Spirit, and Adipurush. Notably, more than half of these movies are produced by Bhushan Kumar.
As per a source, Bhushan is counted as one of the biggest producers in Bollywood who is now looking to scale up movie-making in the post-pandemic world. To make this happen, he is teaming up with someone who doesn’t only have a Bollywood appeal but a striking pan India presence too. And which is where Prabhas comes in. But having said, that the star that Prabhas is today, one doesn’t get to work with him easily, and that too on back to back films is indeed a rarity.
The source adds that working with him is a matter of prestige due to his unparalleled stardom. As per the reports, Prabhas has reportedly charged a fee of Rs. 150 crores for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit and with it, has emerged as the highest-paid actor in the country today. Not only Spirit, but he has got 150 crores for Adipurush as well. He is only the third actor in the last decade to get more than 100 crores for a project after Salman Khan, who received 100 crores plus for Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, and Akshay Kumar, who post Bell Bottom has started charging Rs. 100 crores as well.
