Salman Khan’s fans have a piece of good news coming their way. Besides the fact they get to watch the actor every weekend during Bigg Boss and with Tiger 3 all set to roar at the box office next year, they couldn’t have asked for more, or maybe they would.
Well, Salman Khan has now officially announced Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s sequel at the RRR event in Mumbai in the presence of SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, and Ram Charan. The actor has also gone on to reveal that the script of the film has been written already by Vijayendra Prasad. Karan Johar even asked him if he can call it an official announcement by Salman Khan, to which the actor said Yes! Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which was released in 2015, breached the 300 crore mark at the box office and to this day remains one of the top 5 grosser’s of Bollywood.
K Vijayendra Prasad, not so long back had said in an interview that he is trying to crack a script for the sequel of Bajrangi. He also went on to say that he had already discussed the idea with Salman Khan and the actor was quite excited about it. But at that point, the writer had added that he was looking for a proper vehicle that could take the concept forward and had sincerely hoped that it materialises. Bajrangi Bhaijaan also had the likes of Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles.
