Last week Kartik Aryan who plays the lead in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, contracted the COVID-19 virus. It was not only a month ago that the release date of the movie that also stars Kiara Advani, Rajpal Yadav, and Tabu in important roles was announced. With Kartik testing positive for the virus, the shoot of the movie has been stalled, giving rise to the speculation that the release date, which is scheduled to be November 19, might get deferred. However, the co-producer of the movie Bhushan Kumar has confirmed that there will not be any change as far as the date of release is concerned, and the movie will hit the screens as per the schedule. He was quoted as saying that though the lead actor has tested COVID-19 positive, there is just a slight delay, and they will get back to the shoot soon and shall catch up with the pre-decided release date. On the other hand, Kiara Advani and director Anees Bazmi have both tested negative for the virus.
