Kartik Aaryan has been in the news ever since it was said that he had threatened to leave Shehzada had Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo‘s Hindi dubbed version been released. The accusation came from none other than Manish Shah, who had bought the Telugu film’s Hindi rights.
However, now the co-producers as well as the director of Shehzada have strongly come out in support of Kartik Aaryan. In fact, they have released a statement denying any news of the actor being unprofessional. The statement reads that the release of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was stopped because Shehzada producers made multiple requests to Manish Shah of Goldmines, and nowhere in the entire episode did Kartik ever intervene or threaten to leave the movie mid-way.
Bhushan Kumar, one of the producers of the film, said that they all felt Shehzada should be the first to be released in theatres and not the dubbed Hindi version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, and hence a request was made to Goldmine Films by the producers. As per Kumar, the release of any film is not a concern of any actor, but the producers. He added that he has known Kartik since the beginning of his career and they have already worked on multiple projects.
Bhushan went on to add that he is one of the most professional actors he has ever worked with. Director Rohit Dhawan also came out in support of Aaryan, saying the actors’ intent and excitement for Shehzada is unquestionable. Dhawan, who describes him as a dedicated actor, claims that Kartik only discusses how he can put in effort to make this the most important film for the people involved.
