The news of Saira Banu suffering a cardiac arrest spread like a wildfire yesterday. However, it has been revealed that the veteran actress has been under a lot of stress since her husband, legendary actor Dilip Kumar passed away a couple of months back. The actress has been admitted due to chest congestion and blood pressure-related issues. Faisal Farooqui, who is a family friend, has revealed that there is nothing to worry about as Saira Banu was admitted to Hinduja Hospital at Khar three days ago, and the reason was chest congestion. Faisal has confirmed that she is now stable but kept under observation and amidst a lot of precautions due to the COVID situation. It is said that Dilip Kumar’s death has taken a lot of toll on her and that has added to her health struggle. Adding further, Faisal said that the veteran actress is in ICU with some tests and investigations pending. Furthermore, Farooqui dismissed heart attack rumors and said that she was admitted only due to congestion in the chest which predominantly got bad because of weather changes. He also added that Saira Banu is not COVID-19 positive and currently on complete rest.
