Netflix has confirmed a long-term partnership with Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s production house, Excel Entertainment. The producer duo has been known for some disruptive movies in the past, and this association with Netflix will elevate the OTT giant’s content even more. Excel Entertainment is known to be adept when it comes to the long form of storytelling, and for Netflix, they shall produce a variety of stories that will be aired across 190 countries, the commencement of which shall be from two projects titled Dabba Cartel & Queen of the Hill. While the former will be the story of five housewives who run a secret cartel, Queen of the Hill will be all about the dynamic relationship between two ambitious women that would change the city for once and all. Monika Shergill from Netflix is excited to have joined hands with Excel Entertainment, which she calls a path-breaking creative studio. As per her, they have pushed the boundaries of entertainment, and she is delighted to welcome them aboard. Ritesh and Farhan said that their partnership with Netflix will mark a new beginning after completing 20 years in storytelling, and they are excited to entertain the people of India and the world through this new chapter.
