Rajkummar Rao is regarded to be one of those versatile actors of Bollywood who has started getting his due in recent years. The actor has at times rubbished many fake reports of him signing films and has in fact spread awareness by calling out con artists who claim to be representing him across social media handles. One such fake scenario has recently taken place and has irked the actor so much that he has gone on to bust the racket on his Instagram stories. Rao shared a mail which claimed that he has agreed to work on a film “Honeymoon Package” which would be helmed by a person named Santosh Maskey. The fake communication claims that the actor has agreed to work for Rs. 3.10 crores which according to his manager, Saumya, will only take place if Rs. 3 crores would be transferred to him in cheque and Rs. 10 lacs in cash.
The mail further wrote that the amount will be 50% of his total fee. The mail also states that Rajkummar is comfortable for narration on 6th January at Ramoji Film City. Post getting the idea of what has been happening surrounding his name, Rao immediately took to his Instagram story and asked everyone to be careful of such fake people and communications. He added that he doesn’t know anyone named Saumya and that these fraudsters are using fake emails as well as fake managers to con people.
