Pushpa: The Rise was one of the most anticipated movies of 2021. But who would have thought its enormity at the box office like what it is today? Released on December 17, this action drama has the likes of Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil essaying their part to perfection.
Helmed by Sukumar with music chaired by Devi Sri Prasad, the film has turned out to be a super money-spinner at the box office. As per the latest reports coming in, the Hindi dubbed version of Pushpa: The Rise has overtaken the lifetime business of KGF Chapter 1 which had Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead. Pushpa: The Rise has been creating a lot of buzz due to its unparalleled promotional material.
But all wasn’t as green as it looks today. The Hindi dubbed version had a very humble beginning at the box office as it managed only Rs. 3 crores on the opening day. But the word of mouth did wonders for the film to the extent that its 18th-day numbers are more than that of the 1st day. The movie looks to be in no mood to stop, and with no other films lined up in the weeks to come, it will continue to have an interrupted run at the box office. The Hindi version of the movie has already earned more than Rs. 65 crores, making it the fourth highest grosser after Baahubali 2, 2.0, and Baahubali. Overall Pushpa: The Rise has breached the Rs. 300 crore mark.
