As the Maharashtra Government has rolled out the new unlock guidelines, the shoots have resumed in the state. Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali will resume its shooting from June 15. Although the new SOP’s prohibit dance or crowd sequences, the resumption of the shoot itself is a relief for the film’s producers as it is hardly a matter of time before they will wrap the entire shoot. Apart from Gangubai Kathiawadi, several other movies shall also begin their schedule from June 15. Film shootings came to a halt after a complete lockdown was imposed in the state owing to the rising number of coronavirus cases. Gangubai Kathiawadi, which was on the verge of completing its entire schedule, had to abruptly stop the shoot and wait for the cases to decline. Now that the cases are on a slump and the vaccinations are increasing, the remaining parts of the movie shall be shot.
