Yashraj Banner’s Sandeep Aur Pinki Faraar which stars Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor releases today. The film’s release on March 20 last year was called off due to the first lockdown that hit the country. Exactly a year later, this intense thriller is all set to woo the audience. But there is more to it than meets the eye as far as the film is concerned. Usually, during any film’s opening credits, it is the actor’s name that appears before and then the actresses, but in Sandeep Aur Pinki Faraar, it will be the other way round. Parineeti Chopra’s name will come before Arjun’s. As per a source, all this was director, Dibakar Banerjee’s idea as the focal point in the movie is Parineeti Chopra’s character Sandeep. She is the one who brings all the characters together and hence her name appears before any of them. Also, even the title of the movie- Sandeep Aur Pinki Faraar has Parineeti’s character’s name first and not vice versa. The source further shares that Sharon Prabhakar, the yesteryears Indian pop singer and theatre personality plays the role of a socialite in the movie. Although a one-scene appearance, this will be her comeback on the big screen after many years. Interestingly, her daughter Shazahn Padamsee had made her debut with YRF Film, Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year in 2009.
