The wait is finally over fjay Lor Saneela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. Earlier, Bhansali and Alia Bhatt had contracted COVID-19 which halted the shoot of the film. Subsequently, the Maharashtra Government also imposed a lockdown due to the rising number of cases, which put indefinite breaks on the film. Now that the resumption of shoots is allowed in the state, Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to go on floors from June 15. Alia was shooting for a song when the shoot halted the last time, and Sanjay wants to continue from the same point. The ace director has already sought 15 background dancers for the song who will start the rehearsal with Alia next week. With all the safety norms and precautions in place, the dance sequence shall begin in the Goregaon Film City. It is also said that only vaccinated artists will be allowed on the sets as the director and the production house want to be as safe as they can be. Once the song is done with, it will be finally a wrap on the film and a big sigh of relief for all those involved.
