Earlier in the day on February 9th, Yash Raj Films announced the fresh release date of its much-anticipated film, Prithviraj, as June 10. Notably, the said release date was already blocked by Dharma Productions for its film, Govinda Naam Mera, which stars Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, and Kiara Advani. However, it looks like Dharma is now rescheduling its release date to avoid a clash with Prithviraj. A well-placed industry source says that the decision to postpone Govinda Naam Mera was taken after a discussion with YRF. Apparently, Dharma and Yash Raj Films share a very cordial relationship, and since the latter was keen on June 10, it was mutually agreed that the release of Govinda Naam Mera would be delayed. Although the new date of the film has not been locked yet, the announcement can be expected in the days to come as Dharma Productions is currently stuck with the launch of Madhuri Dixit Nene starrer The Fame Game. June 10 will also see the Hollywood release of Jurassic World: Dominion.
