Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli welcomed their first child, Vamika, earlier this year. The baby girl has kept the power couple busy, and both have been thoroughly enjoying their parenthood. While Kohli is currently captaining the Indian side in the World Test Championship Final in England, Anushka & Vamika have also accompanied him. As per the latest reports, Anushka has no plans to return to work this year as she wants to focus on her newborn baby. According to a source, her priority is her baby, and she does not want to take the risk of stepping out to work as there is still a lot of uncertainty around. Moreover, there is a third wave of the pandemic expected in India during October, which may affect children, and it may largely target Maharashtra. The actress who was last seen in Zero opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 2018 has asked her team not to schedule any shoots this year. As there are no pending acting assignments, Anushka has turned her focus on her production company, Clean Slate Filmz. The production company has many films in different stages. It has two Netflix projects, Saksi Tanwar’s Mai & Qala, that marks the debut of Late Irrfan Khan’s son Babil. It also has an Amazon Prime Video project that will feature Aditya Roy Kapoor. The production company is also working on Paatal Lok Season 2 and certain other projects which shall go on floors in 2022. Anushka Sharma has also signed a biopic based on former Indian National Women’s Cricket Team captain Jhulan Goswami. The film is expected to go on floors from mid-2022.
