Almost two decades ago, Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali spelled magic at the box office with Devdas. Since then, the superstar and director with finesse haven’t worked together. Although they were very close to working with one another on many projects, unfortunately, nothing worked out. Bhansali had offered SRK Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, but the talks fell through. There were also rumors that the director wanted to cast both Salman Khan and Shah Rukh together in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam 2, but that too never materialized. So, there have been a lot many misses for both, but hopefully not anymore. Bhansali is now getting back to his romantic ways with Izhaar, for which he has already approached SRK. As per a source, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was looking to collaborate with Shah Rukh for Izhaar four years back. It is a real-life love story of an Indian man and a Norwegian girl. It is about a guy who cycled all the way to Norway for his love. Let’s hope the movie works out and does not add to the tally of yet another miss, which has been the case between the two for a while now.
