As per the latest reports coming in, the Income Tax Department has conducted raids across 30 locations in Mumbai including the residences of actress Taapsee Pannu & filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. The raid at Pannu’s & Kashyap’s residence is in connection to the latter’s production house, Phantom Films which got dissolved in 2018. According to a senior IT department official, the raids are conducted on the doubts of tax evasion. It seems despite the movies produced by the production house have been super-hit, yet their statement of accounts is showing considerable low income. These raids have not been conducted against individuals but entities. It is well to be noted that both Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap are currently busy with their third association, Dobaaraa.
