Ever since Saif Ali Khan starrer political thriller Tandav released on January 15 this year on Prime Video, it has been controversies galore for the web series. Cases were registered against the makers of the show and the platform for hurting the religious sentiments of a particular community. Although the makers issued an unconditional apology in January itself, nothing came from the platform where the series was filmed. It is now being confirmed that Amazon Prime Video India has issued an unconditional apology where they have regretted the fact that its viewers found certain scenes in the series objectionable. The apology statement also mentioned that it wasn’t done intentionally and the scenes in question either stand deleted or edited. The statement further read that as soon as issues were brought to the platform’s attention, corrective measures were taken.
