Kartik Aaryan has been in the thick of things of late. He is currently working on the sequel of the popular horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa and has also wrapped up the shoot of Ram Madhvani’s Dhamaka, the post-production of which is on. However, one of the most anticipated movies which he has become a part of is Dostana 2. That said, it is reported that the star has walked out of the Dharma Production’s movie due to creative differences with them. In 2019, Karan Johar had announced the sequel of Dostana with Kartik, Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya Lalvani in the lead. Kartik worked for 20 days for the movie, before the shoot came to a halt due to the nationwide lockdown because of the pandemic. The movie was supposed to resume production from the beginning of this year, but there were no developments taking place. And by what we hear from the sources close to the production of the movie is that the makers are now looking for a replacement for Kartik Aaryan. The actor has apparently expressed his disagreement with the movie’s script and has not been able to allocate dates for the shoot. It is also being said that Dharma Productions, following this dispute has decided to never work with Aaryan in their future projects.
