Speculations went rife yesterday of Kartik Aaryan moving out of the much-hyped Dharma Productions movie, Dostana 2. It has now been confirmed by the production house itself on their Instagram handle that they shall be recasting Dostana 2, which will be directed by Collin D’Cunha. Yesterday, rumours were running rampant about Kartik Aaryan being fired from the movie for his unprofessional behaviour. The internet went berserk with fans of the star giving out their opinion on the subject, making the entire episode trending at the top spot.
Dharma Productions finally broke the silence on the subject by releasing a statement which said that due to professional circumstances on which they would like to maintain a dignified silence, they will be recasting Dostana 2, directed by Collin D’Cunha. It further notified to wait for an official announcement on the subject soon. As per the reports, the fallout and the subsequent recasting will cost Dharma Productions an amount to the tune of Rs. 20 crores.
