Liger, Vijay Deverakonda’s debut Bollywood film, will get the biggest release for a South Indian hero. And brace yourself because the release is going to be even bigger than a Rajinikanth film. It seems Karan Johar, the producer of the film, does not want to leave any loose ends in wanting to market Vijay as the next big thing in Bollywood. As per a close friend of Karan, the last time he was so charged up about one of his actors’ debut was during Varun Dhawan’s launch in Student of The Year. Meanwhile, the director of Liger, Puri Jagannath, who is often seen in Mumbai along with Karan Johar and Vijay, is planning another action film with the actor. As per a Dharma source, Vijay has been unstoppable in Telugu cinema, and with the Hindi audience opening the doors for him, he is surely expected to do wonders pan India as well. As per Deverakonda himself, Liger will be an out-and-out big screen experience, and the team has worked extremely hard on the action sequences in it. He adds that these will be never-seen-before sequences, and the movie will bring the audiences back to the theatres.
