The duo of Sanjay Leela Bhansali & Deepika Padukone has worked on three films together, Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani & Padmaavat, and all have been artistic brilliance. With the amount of success they have had in the past, it was expected that they would collaborate again for new projects, but we haven’t heard any such news for some time now. It is said that all is not well between the director and actor. It seems Sanjay had offered Deepika a dance number in his upcoming flick Gangubai Kathiawadi, but the actress denied it. He then went back to her with yet another role, this time either a key part or a dance number in the web show, Heera Mandi, but Deepika refused that too. These back to back rejections have created differences between her & the filmmaker. It was also said that Bhansali was supposed to make a movie called Baiju Bawra with Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt, but with the situation that has cropped-up, the project seems to be not kicking-off. As per a source, attempts are being made to clear their misunderstandings and the actress will do Baiju Bawra. Deepika is like a family to Sanjay and very dear to him and it is just a matter of time before the differences are sorted out.
