The makers of Bhoot Police have decided to prepone the horror-comedy by a week. The film will now release on September 10, which marks the Ganesh Chaturthi weekend. Taking to their social media account, Arjun Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez announced that the film will now release seven days before on Disney+Hotstar. Bhoot Police is all about two ghost hunter brothers, Vibhooti played by Saif Ali Khan, and Chiraunji, whose role will be donned by Arjun Kapoor. It will also have Javed Jafri, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Yami Gautam in key roles. Directed by Pavan Kripalani, the film is produced by Tips Industries Ltd. and 12th Street Entertainment. Since it plans to release on a long weekend now, the film is expected to do well. The reason for revision of dates is not shared by the filmmakers as of now, but in all likelihood, the step points out to the fact that two previous big releases, Mimi and Bell Bottom became a victim of pirated websites just before their release and that may well be the reason producers did not want to take any chance.
