Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn’s film, which was initially titled MayDay, has changed its name to Runway 34. In a major announcement on Monday, the stars of the film took to their social media to share the name change along with the poster of the film.
Runway 34 is based on true events and is directed by Ajay Devgn and produced under his banner Ajay Devgn Ffilms. Unveiling the poster on his social media, Amitabh Bachchan said that MayDay is now Runway 34 and asked everyone to fasten their seat belts and sit tight as the film is all set to release April 29, on the occasion of Eid.
Ajay Devgn too shared his poster and added that the film is a high-octane thriller, inspired by true events that are special to him for reasons that are more than one. Rakul Preet Singh, who could be seen in a pilot’s uniform, took to her Instagram to share the unveiling of the poster and asked everyone to get geared up for a journey, they shall never forget. Runway 34 will mark Amitabh and Ajay’s seventh film together.
They were last seen sharing screen space in the 2013 film Satyagraha. Runway 34 also stars Boman Irani, YouTuber Ajey Nagar, who is popularly known as Carry Minati, Aakanksha Singh, and Angira Dhar.
