Noted playback singer Mika Singh who had been arrested by the United Arab Emirates police a couple of days ago was released due to the intervening of the Indian Embassy. He was produced in the court the next day but later sent back to jail for further questioning by the UAE police.
Mika Singh has been accused of alleged sexual misconduct by a 17 year old Brazilian model who has accused him of sending her an inappropriate picture.
The girl is reported to have been working with Mika Singh for the last 3-4 years.
Mika Singh is no stranger to controversy having faced similar charges back home. It’s not sure now how long he will spend time in the UAE jail.
