Bob Biswas, a thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh’s daughter, Diya Annapurna Ghosh, was released on Zee5 on Friday. The movie has Abhishek Bachchan play the role of an assassin with Chitrangada Singh as his wife. Written by Sujoy Ghosh, not many would have realized, but the girl playing Abhishek’s daughter in the film is Samara Tijori.
She is the daughter of one of the most popular Bollywood actors during the 90s, Deepak Tijori. She will be seen in the role of Mini Biswas. She is shown as a student studying hard for her medical entrance examination, and according to her teacher, her performance isn’t at expected levels. With the struggle so hard, she has been shown getting addicted to a drug called Blue, which helps in keeping her energized so that she could study for longer hours.
How all this leads to problems and how her storyline is connected to Bob Biswas forms a significant part of the film. Deepak Tijori, in a 2018 interview, had revealed that Samara had finished her graduation and taken up lessons in acting. Notably, she has also assisted in films such as Dishoom, which had the likes of John Abraham and Varun Dhawan in it, and Bhoot: Part One- The Haunted Ship starring Vicky Kaushal. Although Bob Biswas is her debut film, Samara has acted in a short film named Grand Plan.
