It indeed came as a pleasant surprise when Salman Khan officially announced the sequel of his 2015 blockbuster film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, at the launch event of RRR. During the event, Salman Khan was seen as telling how SS Rajamouli’s father Shri KV Vijayendra Prasad wrote his film Bajrangi Bhaijaan and gave him one of the finest movies of his career.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is considered as one of Salman’s finest films, which not only minted big money’s at the box office but was also critically acclaimed. The 2015 movie had Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Harshali Malhotra play vital roles alongside Salman. However, it has come to light that the film’s director, Kabir Khan, who is keeping busy with the promotions of ‘83, has said that the script of the sequel of Bajrangi hasn’t been written yet.
While speaking to a news portal, Kabir said that he would like to only talk about ‘83 for now, but the announcement was something Salman did and that he was not in the know of it. He added that neither the script has been written nor an idea has been formed really and that there is nothing right now that can be talked about. With this sudden development taking place, it is quite surprising to hear what Kabir said as Salman Khan sounded confident of the sequel taking place. All eyes are on Salman now if he goes back to Kabir Khan or ropes in another director for the sequel.
