It is indeed a disappointment for everyone who wanted to see Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen this year. Pathan won’t release until next year. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh’s tweet, the Yash Raj movie is not slated to release in 2021 but will hit the big screen in 2022. Shah Rukh’s last release was Zero in 2018 which did not do well at the box office. Since then King Khan hasn’t announced any new movies which is probably the first time in his Bollywood career that he has been absent from the big screen for such a long stretch.
