Just as the news began doing rounds yesterday about Zoya Akhtar making the Bollywood adaptation of Archies, all eyes were glued on who will be the lead actors in the film. It has now come to light that Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, will be making his debut in it.
Besides him, this Zoya Akhtar’s big musical Bollywood adaptation will also feature Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter and Khushi Kapoor, late Sridevi’s daughter, in the lead roles. Although there is no confirmation yet on who will play what in the movie, but it is assumed Suhana will play the role of Betty while Khushi will fill the shoes of Veronica.
Agastya Nanda, whose Bollywood debut has been contemplated for a while now, will don the hat of Archie. While the rest of the cast is yet to be decided, we can surely say that the adaptation of Archies looks to be as interesting and fun as the comic itself.
