Ranveer Singh will be seen hosting The Big Picture, the Indian adaptation of the popular quiz show format. The show will mark Ranveer’s television debut. The Big Picture will be seen on Studio Viacom 18’s GEC Colors. This show will be adapted in association with Banijay Asia as well as ITV Studios Global Entertainment B.V. It will also be available on Viacom’s OTT channel, Voot, and all Jio Channels. Mukesh Ambani has a controlling stake in Viacom18, which is a joint venture between TV18 and the U.S. conglomerate Viacom. The show’s format revolves around 12 visual-based questions, which can be answered with the help of three lifelines. The contestants will be required to answer these 12 questions correctly to win millions of rupees. The interactive format of The Big Picture allows the viewers to play from home. The show will be sponsored by ed-tech company BYJU’S. Speaking on the development, Ranveer Singh said that the Indian cinema has given him everything, and it has been a platform for him to excel and showcasing his skills. He now looks forward to connecting with people in an extremely unique and engaging way through The Big Picture. He added that the fact that introducing India to a “NOW” generation quiz show sealed the deal for him.
