Bollywood is often known to make biographies or remakes of movies. There are some that click and many that go down the drain. However, some biographies make an impact on audiences even before they are released. One such movie is Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which will have R. Madhavan play the role of Nambi Narayanan, an ex-ISRO scientist and aerospace engineer who is also the recipient of the country’s third-highest civilian award, the Padma Bhushan. Madhavan will be portraying Nambi’s role from the ages of 27 to 75 in the movie. The trailer is slated to release today, April 01, and the movie will hit the screens in the last quarter of this year. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is about a 79-year-old ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan who was responsible for the cryogenics division at ISRO and was falsely accused of espionage. However, these charges on him were dismissed by the Central Bureau of Investigation, but they destroyed his career completely. The movie, which is produced by R. Madhavan himself, will bring out the injustice that Nambi had to go through.
