Actress Shabana Azmi accused an online alcohol delivery platform of fraud. The platform, according to her, failed to deliver her order for which she had already paid up-front. Earlier in the day, the Masoom actress accused the delivery platform of not answering her calls when she wanted to inquire about the status of her order. The actress on her Twitter handle asked everyone to be wary of the portal and brought to light the entire scam which took place with her. However, as the day progressed, things became clearer when the actress once again took to her Twitter to confirm that after tracing the owners of the portal, she learned that the people who cheated her were nowhere associated with them. She also tagged the Mumbai Police and Cyber Crime Cell, urging them to take action against the scamsters for maligning the reputation of the company.
