Post the success of Kabir Singh, actor Shahid Kapoor has a bagful of good projects he is working on. The actor has a big mythological film Karna and a sports-drama film Jersey, which he has been a part of. Apart from these two projects, he also has Raj & DK’s web series and a digital release with Ali Abbas Zafar. While the news of Zafar and Shahid coming together for a digital project is all over the entertainment landscape, it is now revealed that this made for digital film is an adaptation of Nuit Blanche, a French thriller. This 2011 French film revolves around a cop’s life whose connection with the underworld comes out in the open when they try to steal drugs from a drug lord leaving the cop’s child’s life in danger. Shahid, as expected, will play the role of the cop in this flick who would try to save his daughter from the kidnappers. As per a source, the story of the movie spans an entire night and revolves around how Shahid fights everybody during that whole night to save his daughter. It is undoubtedly going to be a well-crafted thriller made with precision, especially for the digital audience, and will be Shahid Kapoor’s second exposure on the web after Raj & DK’s untitled project. It is also said that one of the premier actresses has been approached to play the female lead.
