Adipurush, which is one of the most anticipated movies of the recent times, has taken the internet by storm lately. Starring Prabhas, who is known to act in magnum opus movies that make a mark pan India, Adipurush is scheduled to release next year and is touted as the biggest Indian film in terms of both VFX and scale. While names like Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan have already been associated with the movie, the latest to have joined the bandwagon is Bigg Boss 13 winner and television sensation, Sidharth Shukla whose last Bollywood appearance was Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
Along with the two biggies, he will be sharing screen space with Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh. Although there is no official confirmation from the makers yet, the news of Sidharth joining the cast has certainly got his fans elated. If reports are to be believed, he will play the character of Meghnad in the movie. While Prabhas will don the character of Lord Rama, Saif will play Ravana, Kriti is roped-in to play Sita and Sunny Singh will essay the role of Laxman. Adipurush will release on August 11, 2022. Directed by Om Raut, known for his work in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, the movie will be co-produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T- Series.
