The release of Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi is postponed. The movie was about to hit the screens on April 23. Owing to the rising number of coronavirus cases since last month, night curfew and re-lockdown have been imposed in many parts of the country. The team of Thalaivi took the step on Friday, saying that they have sacrificed a lot in the making of the film and would want to thank every member of the cast and crew who has supported the journey. They added that since the film is made in multiple languages, they would like to release it in all languages on the same day. Although the film is ready for a release on April 23, the team said that they would like to extend all the support to the government and hence would postpone the release date for now.
