Deepika Padukone has been flooded with work ever since the shoots commenced post the pandemic. She has just finished-off work for Shakun Batra’s untitled drama and has started with Shah Rukh’s comeback movie Pathan. Her preparation for Nag Ashwin’s next has also begun and if reports are to be believed, her ambitious project The Intern is on the verge of revival. Badhai Ho director Amit Sharma has been roped into helm this project, which had Late Rishi Kapoor play Robert De Niro’s character from the Hollywood movie of the same name. After Kapoor’s demise, the movie was put on an indefinite halt, but now things have started to take shape again. While the makers are still working on Rishi Kapoor’s replacement, the project is expected to go on the floors from November.
