Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 was all set to go on floors in March this year before its lead actor Katrina Kaif tested positive for COVID-19. A few days later, the Maharashtra Government announced a complete lockdown owing to the rising number of Coronavirus cases which further halted the shoot. If that wasn’t enough, a couple of weeks back Cyclone Tauktae which hit the west coast of India, partially damaged a huge set of the film that was erected in Goregaon. Since the State Government has further extended the lockdown till June 15, Aditya Chopra has decided to completely dismantle the sets that have been built on SRPF Ground, Goregaon. The production house will re-erect the set when they are ready for the shoot. Besides the permission from the State Government, Chopra has also decided that the shoot will resume only when the entire unit of the film, which is of around 300 people, gets vaccinated against the virus. It is well to be noted that the producers have already incurred a heavy cost to maintain the set, which has stood unused for almost a month and a half. The movie is also scheduled to be shot across parts of Europe as it is now open to fully vaccinated travelers. The Europe leg will start in August.
