Jacqueline Fernandez, briefly detained at the Mumbai airport on Sunday based on a lookout circular by the Central Agency, is now summoned by the Enforcement Directorate to appear on December 8 at Delhi. Notably, the actress is not allowed to fly out of India.
Her statement has already been recorded twice in the 200 crore extortion case as a witness. But this time around, it is expected that the authorities will be confronting her based on the evidence they have collected till now. Jacqueline, as claimed by prime accused Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s lawyer, was dating his client, and amid the allegations made by him, some cozy pictures of them were also circulated on the internet.
Besides, it is also alleged that she was given gifts worth a whopping ten crore by Sukesh. Sources who have been keeping a close vigil on the development say that it is highly likely that Jacqueline will be arrested in the case. Although all her friends from the industry have refrained from commenting on the issue, someone very close to the actress says that she is a very sweet person, but too ambitious, and has always aspired to have a good life, only the best for her.
