Basking in his professional success, Vicky Kaushal has been on a roll. The actor was involved in Laxman Utekar’s untitled flick, the shoot for which recently concluded. Vicky has now collaborated with ace director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. He was recently seen at Mehra’s office along with Excel Entertainment’s Ritesh Sidhwani. As per a source close to the development, the project happens to be very close to Mehra, who has been wanting to make a film on the subject for a long time. This is going to be a mythological drama where Vicky will be playing the titular role. The story will be narrated from Karna’s perspective. It is expected that the film will begin by the end of the year. The reports surrounding the film also suggest that the makers were earlier in talks with Shahid Kapoor for the role, which did not go as planned. The yet-to-be-titled project will be bankrolled by Excel Entertainment.
