Aparna Sen has a streak of giving out some amazing content, and this time around, she has done so yet again with Konkona Sen Sharma and Arjun Rampal. The Rapist, which premiered at the Busan International Film Festival earlier this month, was regarded to be one of the finest works by Aparna Sen and met with rave reviews. The appreciation for the movie has been such that it has won itself the prestigious Kim Jiseok award at the 26th edition of the festival.
Taking to his Instagram account, an ecstatic Arjun Rampal said that there couldn’t have been a piece of better news this Dussehra. He added that the film has so much to say and addresses all of it fearlessly. The model-turned-actor thanked the jury for the acknowledgment of their work and also paid gratitude to the cast and crew of the film. Arjun has a much-impressive lineup of films, from Dhaakad and Penthouse, to The Battle of Bhima Koregaon and Mystery of Tattoo, all of which will be showcased soon.
