One of the biggest production houses in the country today, Dharma Productions, has been known to churn out some very interesting content these days. Right from 1999, when the production house got a new life in the form of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to up until now, they have become used to giving out hits and don’t mind trying varied genres.
Probably, that’s the reason their success rate has been higher as compared to their contemporaries. Be it a theatrical release or an exclusive OTT tie-up, they have done it all, and no wonder, have had an exceptional journey. The production house in its usual style of building up hype for a movie, on Monday morning, announced that they would be making a grand announcement of their next project at 8:00 pm.
It has been revealed that their next project will be called Mr & Mrs Mahi and will star Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor. Sharan Sharma, who directed Gunjan Saxena- The Kargil Girl, will be directing this project as well. As per the reports coming in, Rajkummar Rao & Janhvi Kapoor will be playing the role of cricketers in the movie. This explains the cricket bat emoji which was seen in the tweet of the production house earlier in the day on Monday.
Both the actors will undergo extensive training for the sport once they are free from their work commitments. The film is expected to release on October 7 next year.
