Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been arrested by the NCB and sent to one-day judicial custody. The arrest was made after a planned raid was conducted at a rave party which was held on a cruise ship called, Empress, run by Cordelia Cruises. Aryan was taken into custody on the night of Oct 2, and after hours of questioning, was slapped with various sections of the NDPS Act. Besides Aryan Khan, his friends Arbaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were also arrested. Later in the day, five more arrests were made in the case. The Narcotics Control Bureau has released an official statement which confirmed that the honorable court has granted 1-day custody of all three accused. All accused will be produced before the honorable court on Monday, along with the other five who were arrested later in the day. Aryan was represented by senior advocate Satish Manshinde, who is known to take up cases that involve the NCB. Manshinde was Rhea Chakraborty’s counsel as well during the SSR drug probe last year. According to the NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, one drug peddler has been apprehended from the supply chain of this arrested group of youngsters and the department is investigating his links with the accused.
