Belfast, Kenneth Branagh’s Academy Award contender, was released in Cinema Nova, Melbourne on February 3. The theatre is known to be the first cinema in Australia to begin screening stage productions as well as portraying art from across the globe. Cinema Nova offers an immersive cinematic experience for moviegoers with a bent for quality and fine dining. There are often occurences like “meet the filmmaker” or other curated events that keep taking place quite regularly in it. Talking about the movie, set in the 1960s, Belfast happens to be a story of love, laughter, and loss in the childhood of a boy, amidst the music and the socially tumultuous times of that era. One can witness some exceptional performances in the movie, which has Academy Award winner Judi Dench, Golden Globe nominee, Caitriona Balfe, Jamie Dornan, and a ten-year old Jude Hill. Belfast is produced by Kenneth Branagh, who will soon be seen in Death On The Nile, which will also be showcased at Cinema Nova starting February 10.
