Sunil Grover was recently admitted to the Asian Heart Institute in Mumbai after suffering a cardiac arrest. The hospital confirmed the same and also said that he was found to be COVID-19 positive as well upon arrival on January 8. After a week of his admission, an angiography was done, which confirmed that all three of his arteries had blockages. This development followed a string of four bypass surgeries. As per Dr. Panda, who treated Sunil, the long term results of his surgery should be good as he received all the arterial grafts with the help of internal mammary arteries. The doctor added that Sunil is a positive person and should be able to lead a normal life with proper care. Sunil has been discharged from the hospital and is recuperating. On Wednesday, it was veteran actress Simi Grewal who took to her Twitter to share concern for Sunil and extend her good wishes.
