It was only last week that Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account got suspended due to her uncalled-for comment on West Bengal violence. In her tweet, she had asked the Prime Minister to retaliate on the violence in the state and show his virat roop from the early 2000s.
Even though her Twitter handle was permanently suspended due to this, Kangana kept writing about the violence on her Instagram account. Only two days ago, the actor tested positive for COVID-19 and announced the same on her Instagram page with her picture. The post read that she had quarantined herself and that she had no idea the virus was partying in her body.
She added that now that she knows about the virus, she will demolish it. In her post, she asked people not to let anything overpower and went on to say that COVID-19 is just a small time flu that has got too much press coverage on it. Soon she had to face a backlash as people stressed the fact that almost 3 lac people have succumbed to the virus and calling it a mere small-time flu was highly insensitive of her. Following this, Instagram put down her post on grounds of spreading misinformation on the pandemic.
Kangana did not stop on this and soon after took to her Instagram stories and wrote that the social media handle deleted her tweet because she had threatened to demolish the virus. Adding further, she wrote that she had heard about terrorists and communist sympathizers on Twitter, but there’s a COVID fan club too. According to her, it’s been only a couple of days that she has been on Instagram, but it doesn’t look like she will last on it for more than a week.
